Thanks for your interest in volunteering with us for the 2026–27 BIOBUZZ season! This form helps us get to know you, understand which roles interest you and find out which events you could attend.

Once you've registered, we'll be in touch with the next steps, including volunteer onboarding and confirming your event allocation.



Please use an email address you check regularly. A personal email is best, as some workplace email filters may block our messages.



We'll only use your number to contact you about your volunteering, particularly if we need to reach you quickly about event arrangements or last-minute changes.



We'd like to know who you're representing – eg. name of your company, school or organisation. If you don't work for anyone, simply leave blank.


We would only share if it's applicable or requested.

We can't guarantee exact shirt sizes for each event, depending on availability and registration date, but we'll do our best. (Unisex t-shirt sizes)

You can find more information about each role in our volunteer role guide above. We'll take your preferences into account when assigning roles and let you know what training you'll need.


Our Key Volunteers help lead events and support volunteers in preparing for their roles. They're not FIRST UK staff, so we'd like your permission to share your name and email address with the Key Volunteers supporting your event. This allows them to contact you directly about briefings, pre-event training and other event preparations.


Qualifier Availability

Please choose only the qualifying tournaments you'd be able to attend. We suggest selecting no more than three, and we'll confirm your event allocation separately.

We'll try to place you at an event close to home where possible. We can reimburse reasonable travel expenses, but travel costs over £30 need to be approved by FIRST UK in writing beforehand. Click here to find a map of this season's events.

Some Championship roles require experience volunteering at a qualifier earlier this season, due to the level of competition and responsibilities involved.

Many roles will require attendance on both days.
